As any cat owner if their cat can sense when their owner is ill. They will tell you their cat will not leave their side when they are ill. In fact it will most likely sit on the spot that is troubling you, this even happens with cats that normally only affectionate when they are hungry.

Dog owners will tell you that they can tell when their partner is about to arrive home as their dog will get all excited a few minutes before your partner arrives. This excitement starts when your partners is too far way to be seen or be hear.

You may never have considered this before but your own disharmony can and will affect your animals. Now I am not going to say this is the only reason animals have issues as it is not, however it is a point you should be aware of.
